antisymmetric relation

An antisymmetric relation is a homogeneous relation where two comparable elements may only be related in one direction.

Formally,
a binary relation $R$ over set $S$ is antisymmetric if for all $a,b\in S$, if $(a,b)\in R$, then $(b,a)\notin R$.
