alternative denial
NOT AND, or NAND, is the truth-functional operator of alternative denial. Its logical connective is the Sheffer stroke \uparrow.
Boolean alternative denial is an operation which takes as input two logical truth values; it returns a value of false if and only if both of its operands are true, and true otherwise.
